Show more...I’m a coach driver so I see the inside of a LOT of hotels…. Stayed as part of my work. I had a single room, and it was just right- cute, recently refurbed and spotless. The food was excellent with a choice of meals excellently prepared and served. The only grumble I had was a couple of snagging bits to finish up, and shower controls were poorly designed particularly as the majority of the visitors here are elderly. But my, how well looked after everyone was! It was a joy. The staff can’t be praised enough- what are they on? Can I have some?! I have heard from my passengers for months how good this hotel is, and I haven’t heard a bad word about it.
Show more...Just a typical Blackpool hotel, in need of an upgrade but for what we paid for it we couldn’t complain, it was clean, the staff were all lovely its was in a great location, rooms warm, tea making facilities. The floorboards were so creaky in the whole hotel you could hear people walking about above our room not great if you are a light sleeper like myself
Show more...The room was nice am clean smelt fresh. The bathroom was a very good size.Only negative is the shower screen needs to be extended as the bathroom flood an becomes super slippy. The hotel in my opinion is for adults an not children they have acts on most nights so if you want a quiet hotel of a night this is not for you. Breakfast was good value for us, £10.50 a day that's for an adult and a child. My stay here was ok I would t return with my children but maybe with a group of adults. Staff where friendly an helpful.
Show more...Well I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends and family who are wanting to go because it’s one of the best hotels in Blackpool and the staff are very friendly definitely pavlo the best bar men on the site he always looks after this customers and regulars vistors I love the staff in the hotal including angel and Julie see you in November guys
Show more...Julie the manager is amazingly friendly. Check in was smooth..room clean and functional. We had Dinner Bed & Breakfast for an amazing price. All staff were great with us. Breakfast team and all personnel were the same across the board. Shame you couldnt control the weather! However it doesnt rain in pubs. We will be back in Summer. Thanks for your great hospitality.
Show more...Pleasant staff and going food but the hotel is sadly in need of updating. Double bedroom very small with tiny 10 inch TV. Very small bathroom with only a trickle of water in the shower. Creaking floors above keeps you awake and very steep stairs. Lift not working so not good at all.
Show more...Lift to all floors? Not working during my 5 day stay and hadn't been working for a good few weeks. No help with suitcases. Floors in rooms squeaked relentlessly. It sounded like something out of Hammer house of horror. The people above me were up and down all night and I hardly slept. The stairs down to the restaurant were very steep and had no proper hand rails to hold. Food was very basic, but mostly nice enough. The restaurant staff work very hard and were very helpful. Entertainment was great. Good artists and bingo every night. Suits me. £2 a pint bar was ok, but the choices were very limited. Only once housekeeping appeared, and I had already emptied my bins from the day before when nobody appeared. She did hand me a spare bin liner. Gee thanks. No hairdryers in the room, so ask for one before you need it. Tv was a 10inch, and only had 4 channels.
Show more...On our way home after another fabulous stay at the Georgian Hollies. Rooms comfortable and clean. Lovely food and amazing staff. Thanks to Lee and Mikela for the amazing entertainment and bingo. Special thanks to David Pav Darren and Helen and all the staff for looking after us. Great hotel with welcoming friendly staff. Look forward to seeing you all again in April. Thanks again Lyn Sue & Kath
Show more...Very friendly staff Lift not working and I’m in a wheelchair and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our break was as much stress free as possible. Changed our room to a ground floor, brought all meals up to the bar as dining room down stairs. Assisted in helping me in and out of the hotel via 3-4 steps. Entertainment generally good, reasonable bar prices

Booked to stay Easter weekend, however due to a family bereavement I had to call to cancel our stay. When explaining this to the female receptionist she’s was extremely rude, stating it still had to be paid in full and it was non refundable, there £300 lost through no fault of our own. The receptionist showed no empathy or compassion about the family bereavement either. Maybe teach the staff how to deal with such a delicate situation rather than them saying ‘well you still have to pay in full and you can’t get refunded’ appalling customer service
