Ocean Mist Leith

Super experience on the Ocean Mist. Staff were welcoming and informative. Very comfortable room and all the amenities we required. No TV in the room but this was not a loss to us. Continental breakfast was very good and service from Toni was excellent. Would recommend and I hope to go back soon.

Don't have a bad word to say about this place. from the moment we walked on to the boat to the moment we left the service was exceptional. Done to a high standard, everywhere is spotless and the attention to detail around the place is fantastic! We spent our evening in the bar being hosted by Albert and his brother Henry. We were the only ones in the bar and we had such a lovely night with them. Very attentive, passionate and a delight to chat to. Albert is a great wee cocktail maker. A true credit to the family. We will definitely be back!! Big thanks!!!

Loved our stay on board the Ocean Mist. All the 'Captains' (staff) are very friendly and very helpful. The rooms were lovely and unique, the bar area was very special and the breakfasts had a good choice. The area is surrounded by great restaurants and bars.

Very accessible to amenities around Leith. Toni and Will very knowledgeable about the history of the ship, which is family run. Entire ship decorated to a high standard and very authentic. Bed comfortable and slept well. Would highly recommend and will be back soon.

What a great experience this was. The only thing I can say bad is that there could be a small cooler box in room for milk that you have to ask for. Apart from that perfect , fab continental breakfast , rooms spotless and finished to a very high standard. Would definately highly recommend staying there and super easy with trams to get in to town

We had a lovely weekend overnight at The Ocean Mist. The boat was a little haven of luxury right in the heart of Leith. The cabin was spotless, had everything needed for a comfortable night. The attention to detail in the decor was first class. The bar and lounge were a delight to spend time in. The staff were polite, friendly and very kind. I loved the addition of birthday banners in my room (for hubby’s birthday) and the complimentary drinks at the bar. These little added extras just made the weekend feel even more special. A unique, fun and memorable experience and I look forward to returning in the future.

We stayed in a great hotel in Leith last year and walked past Ocean Mist and commented it would be lovely to stay there. We booked up Ocean Mist in Feb. Wow! From the first warm welcome it was an amazing stay. The facilities are first class. It has a unique and cozy boutique hotel feel and the team there make you feel like it’s your own boat and you are part of the family. The fixtures fittings and style are something else. Everything is immaculate. The rooms are all unique and so tasteful. The bar area is a lovely space to chill and it’s cozy enough for a romantic night but also it encourages folk to chat. The lad on the bar was superb really helpful and first class service (great music selection too). It’s not often we are blown away by a hotel but this something special created by a lovely team. It’s in a great location next to bars and restaurants and only 15-20 mins into central Edinburgh by tram. We don’t have any affinity with the hotel. We live in Newcastle. We will definitely be back soon.

Just love this boat it’s our 3 rd visit over 3 years , it’s quirky , they have all the little touches , you are welcomed very warmly ! Breakfast is a delight lovely selection, Toni is a lovely friendly efficient welcome in the morning , what can I say top marks from us !!!! Can’t wait to return !

This place is first class. Service was excellent and staff a credit to the ship. Don't want to single out any individuals because they were all great. Loved the continental breakfast especially the cheese and bacon bread. Place is spotless throughout. Very high level of customer care. Long may you be docked in Leith!
