AMAZING show with digital projections on the castle, music, and fireworks. All beautifully themed and synchronized. Seriously the most beautiful visual show I've ever seen!! It gets packed to watch the show, you'll want to make sure that you're somewhere where you can see the front of the castle. People start claiming a spot about 1 hour before the light show begins.

Get here about an hour and a half early to find a place to stand. We were off to the side, and couldn't see all of the projection on the castle. However, I think this is one of the better firework shows I've seen in Disney. It is worth dealing with the crowds to see it once. The music and what the narrator says is inspirational and feels like Disney magic.

Watching happily Ever After with an ice cream from the main street Plaza Ice cream Parlor tops off the day at the Magic Kingdom. Projections take the inanimate castle and make it a viewing screen of imagination. Stories and music cinematically wake up the castle while Tinker Bell and choreographed fireworks fill the sky. The show is 18 minutes long, making viewing from strollers great for little ones, arrive early to get a great view.

There were some punk teenagers behind us saying it probably won't be that great, when the show started they were completely enthralled. The fireworks are for everyone, everyone!
These are the best fireworks you will ever experience in your life, you must see them during your Disney trip, otherwise you are missing out on a huge dose of magic. People start gathering pretty early because they are so spectacular, but I noticed that if you get there 15 minute prior and squeeze in there is room, it just looks like there isn't from the outside. The show lasts approximately 20 minutes and it's far more than just fireworks, the castle lights up with scenes from Disney movies in a way you probably can't even imagine. We had a 5 day pass and saw the firework show twice, the second time was just as good as the first.

I watched the Happily Ever After Fireworks from the beach at the Polynesian Beach Resort and it was nice to see the show without the massive crowds in the park. They pump the music in on speakers and it's right across the lake from the Magic Kingdom. Take the monorail or a bus to the transportation center at the Magic Kingdom. From the bus lot, instead of going in thru security to the monorail hang a left on the path that goes along the lake. It's only a couple of blocks walk to the beach. Get there early and you can get a wooden resort chair. I really enjoyed this view although you don't get the full effect of the lights on the castle.

The brilliantly colored vivid projections of characters and their castles/places of residence on the Cinderella Castle during the fireworks show is the best we've seen! Fantastic! We paid for the dessert party and special reserved viewing on Tomorrowland Terrace. Some fireworks obscured by the roof but worth it to be out of the standing room only crowds. Move you chair away from you table to the edge of the terrace for the best view. Though you will have a better view standing in front of the Castle, not blocked by trees. Expect extreme crowds and mass exodus moving at a snail pace after the show. Everyone wants out of the park so just be patient and go with the flow. Watch for people squeezing through the crowd to get out 1/10 of a second before you. Transportation will be crowded too, but Disney gets everyone out of the Park and back to their resorts/hotels.

Been to WDW multiple times. Fireworks at Magic Kingdom along with other fireworks and parades at all parks are a must. Happily Ever After Fireworks at Magic Kingdom are no exception.
Stay and see the closing fireworks at Magic Kingdom near castle once if possible. Gets a bit crowded trying to get out of park and take any form of transportation to escape so be prepared. Especially if traveling with young children (tired from a long day).
If staying at any of the Bay Lake WDW Resorts (Contemporary, Grand Floridian or Polynesian) the view of fireworks (and convenience) from resorts is excellent. Grab a snack/drink and the children or grandchildren at Polynesian and head down to the main pool/beach for excellent views. Or watch from your room if you are fortunate to have the correct room view.
Pure Magic!!

Crystal Palace was running late on reservations - had to experience the fireworks from inside the restaurant peeking under the window awnings. Couldn't hear the music but it looked like it was amazing. The crowds looked like was New Years Eve in NYC out there. Too many people in the park. Too many people taking advantage of guest services driving scooters.

This is definitely my wife's favorite part of Magic Kingdom and you cannot miss these fireworks and show. Disney always does a magical job to entertain everyone in the park and this is truly a magical moment. Would recommend to anyone visiting Magic Kingdom- you will never regret this experience!

We arrived from dinner at the Polynesian Resort with the intent of taking up a place to watch the evening fireworks. Start time was still over an hour away, and there were no viewing places to be found. Crowds were packed in and people had spread picnic blankets - and this was supposedly a slow week since it was the week after Thanksgiving! The viewing place we had previously scouted was now blocked by cast members as reserved. If you want to be sure to see the fireworks without spending 2-3 hours standing in place, I definitely recommend paying for the reserved standing room only spots.
