I expected a bit more from such high scoring reviews The rooms are clean the food options around the pool are very good indeed. But in the evening the buffet is typical to any buffet in the world. Luke warm sub Par food mostly catering for Russian and Germans. They had an Indian and Chinese station but the meat was tough fatty and chewy. The beer house food is better than the buffet. So it’s best to dine in The al a carte but you get 2 free Al a care dinners in a week then you have to pay €20 euro a person €15 for kids to book any extra. Evening entertainment and disco fine tui Germany sell this hotel so mainly German songs on the kids night but that’s no problem what so ever we had 3 kids aged 6 6 and 13 and they enjoyed it more than ur average Blackpool goes abroad tui U.K. entertainment. Water park disco good alfiler themes nights all were tip top My main issue was the food and the fact you had to pay when there are World class hotels next door like the rixos premium and the regma carya what work out the same price if you dine in the al la carte 4-5 times in the week

Absolutely amazing yet again. We came with same group of friends and kids back in 2016. We decided to come back this time after trying other resorts. This time, Papillon Zeugma is even better. The resort size is just right. Not too big not too small. Two good size pools and a water park. This time, I realised they have taken away the daytime crazy music and games during the day which makes the experience much more relaxing. The whole resort appears more classy now. Daytime games and activities are fun and discreet and no hard selling in trying to get people to join in. I didn’t mind all the craziness back in 2016, but it’s good that they still have all the fun entertainment in the evening arranged by the brilliant Animation team. All the evening shows are curated perfectly. In fact, we’ve always remembered their great shows in the past and this time they are just as good. Upkeep and cleanliness is superb. Staff constantly cleaning and making sure places are clean. Even the outdoor toilets by the pool are air conditioned and very dry and clean. Lobby, reception, restaurants and bars are very clean and immaculate. Rooms are superb as last time. We stayed in 3308 Pool villa. We upgraded to these villas last time and loved it so we decided to book them again. Private pool, good sized rooms with two double beds and a sofa bed. Perfect for family of four. Even the bedrooms in main building are nice with similar theme. Housekeepers are nice and non intrusive. Food: excellent food and quality in both main restaurant and a la carte ones. You can only eat twice for free during the week in the a la carte restaurants. What you would expect from a good Turkish resort. Good quality. Waiters and waitresses were warm and friendly. Some of them may not have high level of English but they are very attentive and helpful. They definitely had really good training. Ilhan the restaurant manager was brilliant and looked after us well for our birthday celebration. Hamza the Beer Garden bar Mgr was brilliant. Mustafa and his team in the Turkish restaurant were brilliant too. Spa: OMG! The treatments were superb. This time they have combined Turkish and Asian therapists. Asian therapists are specially flown in from Bali and Thailand for the summer. Ida, Toy and Busba were our therapists and they are absolutely amazing. Gul and Dilafruz the Spa managers are lovely and very knowledgeable. Looked after our group or 20 people really well including treatments for our kids. Gul would be happy to put together a package for you. All in all, very happy with the Zeugma team. Amazing holiday once again. One thing I will suggest is, Turkey’s economy is not doing well. So if you feel the staff members deserve it, you can spare some tips for them to help. They are really appreciative of kind gestures like this. Of course this is not compulsory and they don’t expect it and they would never pressure you.

Very good all-inclusive resort. Excellent layout and facilities. Very clean. Amazing buffet. Very good poolside drinks and snacks. We stayed in Junior suite ( family of 4 with two older children) which was well worth the extra cost. The only reason I have given 4 stars is because a lot of staff (majority) don’t speak English.. they are polite though and try to help. Hotel does provide a WhatsApp messaging assistant that does help.. maybe this is a feature of all Turkey resorts (it’s our first trip to Turkey)

10 night stay in October with friends. We have all said that we could not find anything to complain about. Hotel is kept immaculately clean. Food is plentiful and varied. In fact we turned down an al a carte restaurant as we couldn’t eat the amounts of food that ware being served. Every day we found something new that we had not discovered before. Staff were so friendly and attentive couldn’t do enough for you. Special mention to Burhan, in the main restaurant who looked after us for breakfast every day. Always delighted to see us and remembering our drinks and how we liked our tea. He wanted to improve his English so charted to us at any opportunity, he was so funny and kind. I cannot fault an exceptional stay at this hotel and would fully recommend. Top tip is the boat trip from the water sports team on the beach. Luxury boat with 5 people takes you to the water falls and caves. 2.5 hours. 70euros. Bit expensive but what an awesome experience.

This is our 8th time to Turkey and 3rd time to Belek and so we have a good basis for comparison. The Hotel really has many good points but essentially is slightly let down with the hit and miss service and the attitudes of some of the staff. The Good - Hotel is visually stunning, very well laid out and cleaned to a high standard. - Great selection of restaurants and bars particularly the Beer House, Italian restaurant and Burger House on the beach. - The scanning of QR codes to order drinks by the pools and beach is a great idea (when it works properly or part of your order is not forgotten.) - The relax pool is great and is much quieter than all the hustle and bustle of the main pool. - Lots to do for families and children and the night time entertainment was fantastic. The not so good -Swim up room unless you are lucky are not worth the money as some of them get the sun and some of them don’t. To be fair, the front house of house manager, he kindly offered to move across to the other side but by then it was the last 3 days of the holiday and not worth moving. - The Hotel is so big and busy it’s hard to build up a rapport with any of the staff. Service is an essential part of the holiday for us. The service was very hit and miss. It just felt all very impersonal at times. I tried to be kind and give tips and rate them five stars when asked to scan their QR codes. The guys in the beer house and Italian restaurant were very good to be fair. -My main gripe is that in every Turkish hotel we’ve been to we’ve always found a few members of staff who really knew how to look after us and knew what drinks we wanted etc without us having to get their attention. Unfortunately we did not have that experience here. - Some staff came across as if you were bothering them. Guest relations look either grumpy or too scared to engage with you. The man who tended the relax bar (Veli) who was hardly rushed off his feet, had a look on his face like the world had come to an end. I felt almost sorry for inconveniencing him at times. On our last night I got into an argument with one of the members of staff for bringing some bread rolls down to the relax bar for my wife from the late night buffet. I was completely blind-sighted and was told this was not allowed. As I explained it wasn’t what they said it but the way it was said. I am not going to name the person, as working in hospitality myself, I appreciate that they were just doing a job and how difficult it can be. It was dealt with in-house on the day and they apologised. I also apologised for getting annoyed and felt bad for them but this sort of situation is something I have never experienced in a Turkish hotel. I don’t expect to pay the best part of 2.5k for an inclusive holiday to be told off like a naughty school child. It was embarrassing for both myself and the staff member concerned. It’s funny after this the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Unfortunately my wife and our guests we intended to bring will be looking elsewhere to spend our 10 year wedding anniversary which is a real shame.

We have just returned from our trip to turkey having stayed at the papillon zeugma and I can say hands down it was the most fantastic family holiday we’ve had. I expected it to be nice but it surpassed all of our expectations! The service, staff, cleanliness, range of food and facilities were just amazing. I have read some of the reviews stating that the staff didn’t speak English and the food was geared towards a more Russian and German audience but we didn’t find that at all. I am also vegetarian and there were plenty of options. The option to also have al a carte lunch for free was a firm favorite with us, especially the sushi restaurant. The resort is a good size and we didn’t even feel the need to leave as there was plenty to do. The entertainment was also really good. Overall, I would highly recommend to anyone traveling to turkey!

Stayed for 10 nights the last 2 weeks in September. Hotel and rooms are spotlessly clean and staff work so hard to maintain the high standards. The waiting staff in the buffet restaurant especially work very hard. Had read some reviews that there could be difficulties in communication for English speaking guests, we found no major problems with this, we were always able to communicate what we needed to, and the only time we did have a problem an English speaking member of staff quickly jumped in to help. Food quality is good in both the buffet area and the a la carte. Recommend the fish restaurant especially. The Japanese and Italian are available for lunch in the all inclusive package and lunchtime visits do not take up any of your allowance- it’s not heavily advertised but well worth trying them & saving any allowance for the other 2 in the evening. Pools areas are lovely and no problems getting a sun bed despite the usual early birds putting towels down. Evening entertainment very good. My only gripe would be the towels in the room are extremely thin and a bit rough but the quality and standards for everything else far outweigh this Highly Recommended

Firstly, let me say that this is an excellent hotel with one major flaw and a few minor ones. I would give it a 4.5 but only whole numbers are available. The checking in process was welcoming, easy and efficient whilst making you feel special. We had booked a side sea view room (an extra cost to basic accommodation) and were duly taken to the room, which was a disappointment as far as the class of hotel it was. The room itself was ok but ordinary but the balcony was possibly the smallest balcony we have ever had and distinctly claustrophobic in its design. We discovered that almost all balconies were of this ilk. They are very private but give limited ‘tunnel vision’ and are so small! We solved the problem by upgrading to a Junior Suite for the fortnight at a cost of 50 euros per night which was a vast improvement, As well as an aforementioned mini balcony we also had another decent sized balcony overlooking the pool. The design of the balconies is what I consider to be the major flaw. As stated before The rooms are well appointed if a little uninspiring with plenty of the little extras to please occupants although to some extent we would have preferred better towels than the thin ones provided which were changed daily. The hotel itself is a really good layout with an abundance of choice regarding eating and drinking throughout the day. The main restaurant serves a good variety of well presented quality dishes. Unfortunately this is let down somewhat by very inattentive waiting staff in the evenings but the breakfast service is great. However, overall the food was some of the best we have had at hotels in Turkey. I must give a special mention to the a la carte restaurants on site which were definitely the best we have ever had. The experience of these was the polar opposite of the usual a la carte restaurants in these hotels. I must also give a big thumbs up to the Beer House which is superb, with excellent staff that more often than not managed to remember and bring my drink to the table before I had even sat down. Also the 24 hour Lobby Bar is the best 24 hour bar I have ever experienced, again managed by superb staff. The entertainment in the evenings was on a magnificent scale albeit perhaps somewhat repetitive with extravagant shows followed by various themed entertainments done extremely well. To sum up, even with the flaws, this is possibly the best hotel we have stayed in in Turkey and we would definitely stay here again but only with an upgraded room.
