Bursa Town Hall

The Bursa Town Hall stands out in contrast to other buildings in the Osmangazi area due to its unique half-timbered architecture. Bursa Town Hall is also considered a baby compared to older buildings in the vicinity having built 'only' in 1879.

It now hosts arts exhibitions. The area outside the town hall also displays artwork produced by various amateur artists.

Again, a historical building and it generally has an art gallery inside it. Please make time to visit it just as I did. You'll enjoy the arts.

This building is colonial and unique. Slip inside a moment and think about the Western influence present in the architecture. This is still a city office building, but they will let you in and even offer literature in English. Notice the double stairs-we were told grooms took one stairs, brides the other, and they would meet for the first time at the top, for their wedding/

The building is an eye catcher. It was built in 1879 when Ahmet Vefik Pasha was the mayor as the town hall. It is beautifully renovated. It is not used as the town hall any more but more for protocol reasons. It could be much more useful if it would be open to the public as a museum.

it's located in the heart of the city , very easy to get there either by shared taxi or public transportation . very unique building

in turkey bursa was good place to visit. good for shopping also.there r few more places u can visit from bursa 1-2 hours drive
