Worst hotel avoid at all costs. We booked this holiday through Jet2 and we were very excited at the prospect of a much-needed break. However, the reality of this hotel is very different and I wish I had believed the reviews from the UK. I wrote a 5000 word complaint detailing everything that had gone wrong on this holiday, and to be honest, it will be difficult to write down everything that was wrong on here. To summarise the hotel is old dated dirty and dangerous. The staff barely speak any English now, while I do not expect people to speak English outside of a resort when you are in a five star international resort you expect multilingual more than just basic language. I spent the entire week using using Google translate to converse with people and explain what was wrong. Our first room was mouldy and dirty with paper, thin walls. The air-conditioning did not work. Our second room also had some mould, but given it was less than the first, it seemed to be about the best we were going to get, it was still dated with loose wires, a fuse box with no cover holes in the wall and extremely dangerous fittings. Our second room also had no air-conditioning and when you are in 30° heat you expect more than just a fan. we were continuously fobbed off by the hotel staff about why it was not working but given it did not work anywhere within the hotel, nor in any of the other rooms from the guests, we asked they appear to have turned it off. It was suggested in the end that we just sleep with the door open. At least our second room had a locking patio door. The first room did not. My son sustained a number of injuries while staying at the hotel due to dangerous fittings in the hotel room, such as a extremely heavy metal object hung from the ceiling with what is the equivalent to a picture hook that fell down, cut his head open and has left him with a scar for Life had it of been a baby it would’ve killed it. We sought medical attention for this injury at the time and receive medical care. The hotel tried to make us sign a form to say we had refused. I wrote on the form to say this was not the case Jet2 have refused to take any responsibility because we did not go to the hospital which is totally disgusting given they were sent medical reports and photographs of the wound as well as the offending item. It was all reported as soon as it happened to both Jet2 and the hotel staff. The interior of the landings was faded, worn and dirty with threadbare carpets, marks and holes up the walls. While the entrance and reception appeared very grand The hotel was a state. Around the pool, there were broken tiles which were dangerous bits of broken brick splinters on the woodwork. On our first full day there, my son got injured on the unsafe waterslides these were by non English-speaking lifeguards, who are more interested in their phones than actually watching what was going on. in fact, all of the staff spoke, Russian perfectly well, but hardly spoken English. The waterslide in question was one, but two people sat in the dinghy, the dingy overturned mid tunnel. My son bashed his head. My husband scraped his hip, and all they did was gave us an ice pack, which was ice cubes in a glove, no incident report, despite me asking it to be written down Again it was down to me to report to the Rep on site. The food was cold and mediocre. We love to sample different foods, but this was not great. . All of the facilities were supposed to be open and half of them were shut. There was no ice cream available, except at dinner and meal times. The ice cream bar was shut. There was no entertainment in the amphitheatre, despite it being advertised and the hotel have since lied to Jet 2 and said there was. There was nothing we sat by the amphitheatre every night to see if there was any show. There was none. The most we saw was an in-house DJ at the bar area, two bands at the bar area and a piano player in the reception what they show on the screens is nothing like what you see what they show on the screens is about five years previous. While there were plenty of sunbeds by the pools. There was only one area which was suitable for children under 140 cm high and the sunbeds were mouldy as well umbrellas thick black mould. During the first few days, we saw them cleaning up the glasses around the pool, but after a couple of days they just got left. The local town is trashy and just full of knockoff shops. Nothing authentic. There were only two members of staff which will helpful and they did try to assist as best they could the on-site Rep was also very. For a holiday that cost as much as this it was extraordinarily disappointing and to have been offered just over 10% back is disgusting despite hundreds of photos being provided as well as copies of all correspondence made onsite. It was honestly a joy to return home. We will certainly never use that company again and certainly never go back to this area of Turkey again, which is a shame as we work hard and look forward to this, and love to travel to different parts of the globe and experience different cultures. This hotel is definitely not five star I would say more like 2/3 at a push. I could go on and on about other things that were wrong and bad about this holiday, but I would just say save your money go somewhere else

Stayed at the Spice hotel following a recommendation, and it didn’t disappoint! Loved everything, a great variety of food to suit all of our party, from meat lovers, to vegans. We went at the end of the season so a few things were not open, so would definitely return, but a few weeks earlier. Aircon in the bedroom wasn’t great but apart from that everything was perfect

Dangerous plugs, fire alarms falling apart, exit signs falling apart. Dirty bathroom. Granted we went back end of the season but I still would expect safety to be top priority. Yet we saw people driving golf carts at speed in the dark (no lights on) past children's areas. Life guards using the facilities and sitting on their phone, rather than doing the job, they only got up after someone was hurt! We got locked out of our room and had to wait half an hour to get back in which isn't the best when you have a young child cold and wet! The safe stopped working they said they would come back and fix it but never did. Some of the facilities were closed for the season but they said they were open and no mention of them being closed early on the website. Half way through the holiday they started to put all the sun loungers away. There were only a small handful left. When we said to the travel agent they lie and say all was fine and we didn't raise any issues with them..

An old hotel with old decoration with a quiet atmosphere in Antalya Most of the passengers were from Russia, the water park is very small with wierd working hours from 10 to 12 in the morning and from 14 to 16. Although they added a new slide, it was still not very interesting. Entertainment programs were different from other hotels One day at 7:00 PM, a dance group entered the main restaurant, and the next day, at 3:00 PM, a music group came near the main bar, but they were not informed about their presence. A boy named Batuhan "Chalish Kan", the manager of the entertainment team, was a kind and loving boy who cared a lot about the passengers. The quality of the food was very good and the variety of fruit in this hotel was much more than the hotels I had been to, they even had "greengage”fruit. Overall, it is a good hotel, but you may find a hotel with better and happier summer programs for the same price.

Super hotel with friendly waiters, great food and beautiful location. Good leisure activities (e.g. darts, volleyball, bingo). The entertainment team is really cool and friendly. They provide great, varied entertainment, especially in their evening shows, ensuring that there is never a dull moment. And a big thank you to Batuhan, Sport Chief, it was so much fun and we had wonderful holidays.

The hotel was quite empty due to it not being in season but this didn’t mean the staff in spice did not make us feel welcomed. They organised different activities for the adults and children. BATUHAN CALISKAN the land sport chief is the guy who goes out his way when his hosting the activities . Would definitely come here again and if you want to have a relaxing holiday this is the place

Fantastic place: Beautiful hotel with everything you need or want. Lovely rooms. Massive swimming pool. Right on the beach with pier out to sea where it was perfect to watch the sunset with a cocktail. Food was great. We ate at the buffet every night and there was more than enough choice. Food not always the hottest, but tasty nonetheless. Waiting staff were mostly great, particularly Duvet(not sure of his name) who couldn't do enough for us. And the lady at the entrance to the restaurant was very nice and always met us with a smile and helped our son with his attempts at Turkish! The lobby bar was a lovely bar with friendly bar staff and a lovely setting to sit at night - outside or inside. The pool bar was also great at night and a couple of nights they had live bands who were excellent. Bar staff here at night were not all as pleasant - especially one who really couldn't make it more obvious she didn't want to be there. We had a problem with an extremely loud snorer in the room next to us and after 4 nights I'd had enough and asked if we could possibly move rooms and the reception staff helped us out by getting us another room. All in all a fantastic holiday in a fantastic hotel in a fantastic location. Thank you
