This is a beautiful ski resort and mountain. Unfortunately hills managed poorly. During our 3 days stay on day T Bar to the hotel is broken and it took half a day to be an fixed. And the next day the main lift was broken and it took half a day to be fixed. This led us to loose 1/2 of our snowboard time and unavoidably walk the hills carrying boards. Management replied to our complaints with a chart saying “but you used the lifts”. Non apologetic, neither financially nor emotionally.

Show more...This is the nearest skiresort from Istanbul. Many travel agent offer daytrip tour package from Istanbul. One offer me 90euro per person for trip from Istanbul in the morning and back on evening. It's quite expensive. As an alternative, I've been taking own trip to Uludag skiresort without travel agent. Here it is :
Take tram from old city or anyplace to Kabatas, and go to Kabatas Eskelesi, buy ferry ticket to Bursa, 20TL/pax, journey to Bursa (Mudanya) will take 1,5 hrs. From Mudanya harbour take bus to Emek metro station to Bursa city center. Alight at Merinos metro station. Take taxi or bus to Teleferik. Teleferik station is the place where cable car to Uludag start. Cable car will cost 20TL/pax. From end of cable car (full trip until skiresort still under construction) take Dolmus (local minibus) to skiresort point, cost you 3TL only. Then you will reach the magnificient skiresort area of Uludag. This alternative is far cheaper than one offered by agent
As person who never see the snow, I think, Uludag is amazing. I came there using the service of one travel agent in Istanbul. Seeing the snow was my only reason to take this package tour. To come there, it needs two and half hour by car (if it doesn't stop everywhere). But the travel agent that i used tried to satisfy the guests by stopping by in any shopping malls in Bursa. I was not really happy about this thing, actually. In my opinion, If I want to do some shopping, I didn't need to go to Bursa. Istanbul has a lot of shopping malls and bazar. At the end, we reached the mountain almost 2 pm (we left Istanbul at 8.30 am). Thanks God, the view is beautiful. The snow is still there (i'm worried it had been melted since it was march already). I spent three hours there (too short for me) to walk around, enjoying the coldness of the snow.
Show more...The only bad thing about this trip was the ride up therethe roads were slippery so the drive was a little dangerous and it will make you feel sick.
Aside from the ride, I loved the place up there, it was cold but really entertaining.I rented a snow jet ski and really loved the ride even though it was a little overpriced.A great view is awaiting half way the ride ,you can see the city from almost 900 meters above the ground!!
It's a nice place but they are blackmailing Tourists during peak season. They sell the cable car tickets for 75 TL but it doesn't worth the price. To scam you more they exploit line length and offer you a fast track line to save your time and they double the ticket price to be 150 TL. But after you arrive the the top of the mountain you Will discover that you have been scammed and you must line-up for the cable car while going down.
Show more...This is my second visit to uludag, plenty of snow to ski this time, the only bad thing about uludag is you don't have too much to do in the evening when compared with other ski centres in Europe apart from that everything was good

On 7th of November 2022, we bought 2 VIP tickets (8922311000871/8922311000888 respectively) at Bursa teleferik each 2000 Turkish Lira we paid total 4000 TR. inclusive guide & food, one worker assign with us (Syrian) Mr. Hussain during lunch time he asked us if we would like to have any starters by verbal without telling us the price & after we ordered starters he said that we have to pay extra 600 Turkish Liras for only salad & humus which we really shocked of the price that is almost the same of normal teleferik tickets! Although we were told food is included in the original price of 2000 TR. furthermore they took us at the height of 2.4 km and didn’t take us all the way to the top although we were charged for the height of 4.5 km. Tourist you need to be carful and not get fooled.
