Pamukkale was lovely but please who ever you book with make sure you spend at least 4 hours there to enjoy it all
Show more...This is an excellent theme park with some amazing rides. We went in the evening and it was not busy.we did all the rides a few times as there was no queues. The entrance fee was around 35 euro and great value for the entertainment we had.The shopping center is top class as are the bars and restaurants. The standard of the buildings is 5 star.Do not book a tour to this attraction. Its much more expensive then getting a taxi from your hotel and buying the tickets at the Land of Legends ticket office at the entrance to the theme park
Show more...Park is an amazing but presented through tour operators make the experience sad and leave a very bad impression about turkey.
The park is open from 10am to 10pm but Tour operator will pick you back at 5pm ! looking at the price that is very expensive (more expensive than a european theme park) we expect at least to be able to use it 100%. With a short calculation, estimated time in the park is 50% of time.
Hopefuly for us, we did not accept the situation and stayed until 10pm (we paid the taxi back). Evening time is brillant as there is nobody. No waiting queues at all, you can do the attractions as many times as you want !!! In addition, outside park restaurants and shops are just wonderfull.
At the end, the Park is great!
Depending where your are located, self managed trip with taxi will be cheaper and much nicer.
;-)
This day was not the one expected. Indeed, we called one day before the date to confirm the hour but the personn on the phone did not tell us that we had to wait outside the hotel and not at the reception. We waited more than 30 minutes for nothing. The he called a man: an irrespectful man who is not able to say hello/please and goodbye and who was on the phone when driving during the first trip in car. Then we went in a second bus and then in a third bus in order to go to the Green Canyon: too many people in the car and in the boat. You just have to know that in the boat on the green canyon, drinks are not included (even water). Then we had a stop of 20 minutes in order to swin and it was horrible: too many people on a small plateforn. Then we went for lunch: it was like a canteen, we had to sit on a table and wait for the starter and main course: they asked us for drinks without telling us that it was not included. After that, we swam 15 mn on a plateform too and a small one too. The staff was not polite (except the photographer) and they asked to sit down and to pay the drinks.
We spent very little time swimming in the Green Canyon and we felt that the most important for tehm is to fill the whole car to make money.
We do not recommend this excursion and this supplier.
A comfortable day out just chilling on a boat around the canyon, a stop for swimming or fishing (equipment supplied) wonderful lunch stop with good food, free drinks all day(No Alcohol)
Nice day out but not suitable for elderly or infirm as their is a lot of climbing up steep steps
I think this is a new thing as it still seems to be being developed, as their seems to be a lot of building and maintenance going on, but as time goes on I'm sure it will be a wonderful day out
We enjoyed this experience very much and had time in the salt room, sauna, steam room with peel, then a mud bath and massage. We paid £10.00 extra each for a coffee rub, but when we had massages, they tried to find flaws and sell treatments like hot stone massages back massages or reflexology. For us, that spoilt the experience a little but the overall experience was good.
Show more...What fantastic trip. The day was made even more special by our tour guide Yusuf and our driver Ohan. There was so much packed into the tour and you are left seeing beautiful sites and feel like you have really learnt a lot about the history of the Antalya region. We were picked up on time and all the stops were perfect. We were a family with a teenage son and we all thought it was fantastic. The included lunch stop was stunning in a high location overlooking the sea. The cable car ride has lovely panoramic views and the waterfalls were stunning. Would do it all again. The booking experience was so easy. It’s was the first time I booked using the trip advisor website and the booking was confirmed immediately. I even received a WhatsApp message the next day reconfirming the pick-up time from our hotel. An amazing day. Thank you Yusuf and Ohan for making it special.
Show more...The blurb for this trip was misleading, it indicated getting off the beaten track, a harbour river trip, admiring sea turtles and dipping into a waterfall, then the bazar.
This was a 50 min bus ride on highways, through towns, river trip that was along a dirty litter ridden river, no mention of sea turtles and stop to dip in sea, on the litter ridden beach where we were pestered by a peddler for purchase of fake perfume. Lunch on the boat was sparse and no drink to accompany ( unless you paid for one) on the boat I was aghast to see that if you wanted a life vest this was at a 52€ charge.
Then the bazaar, was uncomplicated and good bargains, but quiet due to COVID.
Then the waterfall, we were told to be back in the bus after 15 mins no where could you bathe or paddle in the waterfall ?
Again return trip on highways.
Also seen that there was a review after where a tourist paid half the cost we did for the same tour.
Avoid at all costs.
Only plus the tour guide was very pleasant and informative.
Paid €20 each for this . And unless you speak Russian or German Then I would avoid. Music russian / German . Nothing is explained in English .only good thing is seeing Turkey from a boat. You get hour and half in Antalya . Even took a German customer to explain to us what time we had to be back etc .. Very ignorant staff And all one was interested in was who he was going to bed that night. Beware you get charged for beers crisps photos and even slam the tip box on your table after one young guy dives from the boat and the rocks. I normally tip But not when I am forced into it. Save your marriage bey and pay the €1 for the bus trip to Antalya.

This was a well organised trip which ran very smoothly. The flight took off at 6.45 am, and we were met on arrival by the guides, who split the group into different language groups -Russian being in the majority, then Germans, and and a handful of British. We were on the German speaking bus, but the guide explained everything clearly in English and there were no problems in communication. We saw all the sights as advertised. A particular highlight was the cruise on the Bosphorus.
Show more...The meal after was a little rushed as the guide had heard (correctly) that there was congestion on the road to the airport but we got there in time for our 21 30 flight back to Antalya. Again the minibuses to the hotels were well organised.
Overall a great trip. It does however need some commitment to get up so early on holiday - our pick up was at 4.15 am so do not plan anything too active for the day after!
