Show more...We played here in April, when unfortunately heavy rain forced an early end to the round.
Returned on Monday and were desperately disappointed with the poor condition of the greens.
( we also played at the Titanic Deluxe, whose greens were in superb condition )
Also the balls in the driving range are of very poor quality and need replacing.
The only saving grace was the post round meal and service which was excellent.
Not great value at all at €190 a round and buggies at €50 each!
Great g/c ,Food and waiting staff unreal 5 stars
Management 1 star at best
10 of us playing need 5 buggies, none avaliable,it meant we were nearly 45 minutes late teeing off
This caused us to miss our transfer
we have played here 4 x over the last 3 visits every time there has been an issue with buggies!!
this time, we paid, and the guy in the 2nd group out had the receipt for buggies , and the last group was not allowed on to tee (They had waited nearly an hour at this point for the last 2 buggies) until he came back to show the receipt
You're meant to be the best club in Turkey, and the green fees match that, but this is 4 trips, and 4 times we have been mucked about with buggies and rushed to get onto tee
Best part of an hour sorting buggies staff were uninterested and rude. starter, no help, rude and abusive!!!
Why can you not just invest in a few more buggies to avoid this??
Spoilt what was meant to be the highlight of our trip!
Greens were not great to look at either scuffed up very badly
pop down to the Dune/pines loads buggies
Golf course was amazing. Very fun, great mix of holes and very picturesque. Customer service on the other hand was awful. From moment we arrived felt like we weren’t welcome. We had booked the round through a golf provider and arranged to stay and have dinner with our partners. All was pre arranged and we had to pay a fee when the girls got there which was fine but security wouldn’t even let them on site. There was no one around to talk to, to try and get them on so they had to pay a return taxi fare for no reason. When we finally got to speak to someone they were so unhelpful. So we left and didn’t make use of the dinner we had already paid for. Ruined what would of otherwise been a really enjoyable day.
Show more...Golfers we all know we need to repair pitch marks! The greens were the worst I’ve experienced in the 10 or so times I’ve played this course and that cannot be blamed on Greenstaff or poor maintenance.
I was surprised it was so brown as this is the second round of our holiday and it was much greener only a week ago but it looks like maintenance has started but I wish I had known as I probably wouldn’t have booked two rounds this year.
The clubhouse and food was fabulous as always but a paper menu would help as my data roaming was switched off….. so had to have the Ribeye steak as it was what I could remember was on the menu! It was cooked to perfection and probably would have been what I would have ordered even if I knew what else I could choose from.
I was thinking of booking Maxx Royal for my next holiday due to my usual love of this course thinking I would get to play it more often but after today I have to question if I would be disappointed if I had more rounds at the same course and didn’t have other courses to play???
This had previously been the stand out from the crowd course for me and I’m so disappointed.
Played the course on the 16th Oct, having played it over 10 times previous.
This is generally my favourite course in Belek, however on this occasion the overal experience was simply disgusting. Course was shocking, greens were the worst ive ever played on, and the staff were rude/unhelpful and unprofessional. The starter was only bothered about playing on her phone than answering questions, the staff in the bar took our order twice and still didnt bother serving us. I played with 15 golfers, half of which have never been to Turkey and unfortunately this is now their experience. I wouldn't usually write on social media however after attempting to contact Montgomerie staff direct and being ignored this pretty much sums up the overall experience this time. We played Robinson, National and Carya on this trip and all other courses were a joy to play, with staff so helpful.
We were first out having paid 150 euro per head. There was nobody in the golf reception so we went down to the practice area. We were treated as if we were of no interest by the staff.
The course layout is super. The greens look poor in places but honestly they rolled true and quick.
One of the selling points is free food and drink on the course and in the clubhouse. The food was just ok and once again the attitude of the staff was poor. Everything seemed to be an effort and was done without a single smile.
What should have been an exceptional day left a bad taste in the mouth.
We played Montgomery once during our annual golf trip to Belek. It was our first time and our expectations were high. The design is really beautiful, with a high diversity and very scenic, particularltly the back nine. Lots of beautiful trees in the middle of the fairway makes it even more challenging. Unfortunatelly, the course is rather poorly maintained with the green being among the worst we have played in years. Fairways bunker are the pure mud and rather bad looking. Last but least, the alleys are very slipery and given their look seems to be in need of some investments. In fact, you see the need of investment almost everywhere. However, worst of all has been the delayed turning on of the lights for the last 4 holes (we had an afternoon tee time and, of course, you could not see the ball after a certain hour). Instead of turning it on in due time, they let us play for a almost 2 holes by way of guessing where were flying our balls. The personnel seemed rather bored. All in all, we felt this course is overrated in spite of its beautiful design.
Show more...Fantastic golf course and wonderful experience. In good condition and
Good quality practice facilities. The team really look after you on the course with plenty of food and drink.
One issue, you do need evidence of a tee time if you wish to enjoy the food and drink.
Best course in belek. Course was in great condition, food and drink after and during round was all very good, only slight negative was that we had the 1st tee time at 7.40am and at 7.20am we still hadn’t been booked in. Which meant we couldn’t get to the range, as front of house guy was having breakfast.

Our group of varying numbers, 8-16, has just returned from our usual week in Belek, this time based at the Regnum Carya for the 3rd time, and our 8th annual trip overall.
Show more...When we first came here years ago we were due to play the Montgomerie but the opening was delayed and we missed it. Since then we have played many courses in the area but have always wanted to play the Monty.
We booked it this time, along with the Carya, National Old 18 holes and Kaya Eagles. It was a rubbish tee time owing to a competition, but we looked forward to it nevertheless. Well, what a let down!
Not one of our 16 players, handicaps pro - 24, average c14, had a good thing to say about the course itself. The condition and presentation was appalling. It was scruffy, the greens were badly in need of some TLC, patchy and clearly undergoing some kind of renovation. To charge top rate to play was a grievous insult! We play the Kaya Eagle for a bit of fun and it wiped the floor over the Monty.
We will not be back under any circumstances.
I gave out 2 stars solely to recognise the excellent service and facilities of the clubhouse which we were able to enjoy as part of our all inclusive package based at the Carya.
If you're looking to play at Belek, the Carya and Old National 18 holes knock spots of the rest. They're always well presented, in excellent condition and the greens this time round were fantastic.
