We are on a one week golfing holiday and thought we would have a treat to play a course that the Turkish Open golf comp is played on, and we paid 170 euros pp to play it in the late afternoon into the dark.
Was it worth the money, absolutely NOT !
We all thought the course was disappointing in appearance, thought it would have been a lot more pristine, and looked very unkempt in places.
The main issues were we got eaten alive it’s the bugs ! Yes, we all had insect repellant on, but it didn’t stop them !
Secondly, when we finished around 9:15pm, we were all looking forward to a drink and something to eat, wrong, everywhere closed ! Not one member of staff around, and we couldn’t get anything.
Unbelievable when we have paid all that money, and yet that didn’t seem to matter.
A group of guys were sat drinking 9n the terrace in the dark, and they had all brought their own cans of beer as they had learnt on previous visit that they are not open. Hey would you offer such a unique experience as ‘night golf’ and yet not give the paying customers a chance to have a drink and something to eat after their round, to complete the experience?
Definitely won’t be back and we come to Turkey most years, shameful !
The only thing that was good were some photos of the sunset , see attached photo.
Course was in excellent condition and a great layout also. We were told there were only 70 players this day and teed off around 5pm to enjoy the night golf experience. Course gets a 5 rating but the staff get a 1. 169 euros a round and we were rushed from arriving although only one other group before us. We were a 2 ball and fast players in a buggy (extra cost) with no one behind us yet the locals (marshall or club cleaner) constantly followed us closely as though to speed us up so they could go home. Disappointing experience only due to the staff. Played 8 different courses this week and Carya could do with hiring staff from any of them.
Show more...Having played the Carya many times in the last 3 weeks it is a pleasure to review this facility.
The golf reception team of Imran and Mehmet always on hand and have a ready smile to start your day. The starter Ilyas has been fantastic, when he can he accommodates changes to tee slots and when it is not possible he is always apologetic and does his best. Over the years of visiting, Ilyas has always been the starter for our many visits, and is a credit to the Carya as he smooths players progress through the first tee if there are 200, 100 or just 20 groups leaving your are made to feel welcome.
The course is in stunning condition, with carpet like fairways and perfectly rolling greens, the grounds staff are busy but courteous to players and will wait whilst you tee off or putt out. With a choice of tees it presents an equal challenge to players of all abilities.
The F&B service is exemplary and with great selection of food and drink, with prompt service it rounds off a great day at this wonderful course.
Congratulations to all involved in creating a great golfing experience
I went for a look in the Proshop whilst on holiday in Turkey knowing that it was a championship course. Upon Looking around I decided to book round of golf also. Glad I did as the course was in superb condition, the greens were a little slower than I thought they would be but they had been recently seeded. The whole set up was enjoyable, Decent set of Hire Clubs Taylor Made M5 irons and M6 woods with a Motocaddy S1 trolley. Great to walk the course and enjoy the surroundings. The service by all the staff was excellent -
Show more...The Carya Golf Course is one of the best courses we have played. This is our 8th year of coming to The Regnum and always play 2 or 3 times at this course. We are always told when they are doing maintenance on the course so this has never been an issue. A special mention to Ilyas who as always over the years, has been fantastic and accommodates changes to tee times when possible and keeps us entertained whilst we wait to tee off (we're always early). Over the years of visiting, Ilyas has always been the starter for our many visits, and is a credit to The Carya as he smooths players progress through the first tee even if there are 200 people playing making us feel very welcome. The greenkeepers and staff are always courteous too. The restaurant is excellent overlooking the fantastic 17th and 18th holes. We can't wait to return in May this year
Show more...Great course let down by poor greens due to overseeding. I understand greens need maintenance but a) we should have been told in advance and b) received a discount as you are not getting the full experience. Staff were uncompromising and just said no! Generally, it seems mid Sept to late October is not the best time to play golf in Belek.
Show more...We have visited the Carya over the last few years and it is always a pleasure to play here. The welcome at the registration desk is always friendly, efficient and even cheeky as they get to know you. It feels like we are members at our very own club away from home.
A big shout out to the Caddy Master / Starter Illyas, who manages to juggle the first tee like a magician, accommodating numerous players and changes to times making the whole thing flow. He always has a warm friendly greeting, no matter the time of day, and seems aware of the position of all the groups on the course ensuring the best possible pace of play. His team of caddy staff are attentive and friendly arranging buggy’s and carts and keeping players flowing through the area.
The green staff do a great job of maintaining the course and practice areas in good condition and are always aware of and courteous to players
The clubhouse is great with the Restaurant terrace looking out over the 17th and 18th holes, a perfect place for post round drinks, meal and debrief.
Can’t wait for our return!
Customer Service at this club is totally shocking and unacceptable.
I purchased a overpriced Glove that ripped after 2 holes, I took it back to club shop for exchange and was confronted by the rudest club representative I've ever met.
I advised him that it ripped after 2 holes for him to shout and point at me IT'S YOU, IT'S YOU, YOU DID THAT !!!
You can clearly see its ripped on the seem.
Would recommend the course, I'd give the staff a wide berth.
Rude, ignorant, condescending and down right shocking.
The course is one of the best in Turkey, fully flood lit which means you can play into the late hours. We were lucky enough to be out in Turkey attending the 6th Regnum Pro Am tournament. I cannot praise the tournament organisers enough, thanks goes out to Hasan and his team for pulling together such a professional event. Turkey is definitely the place to golf 🏌️♂️. Can’t wait to return next year !

We played the course in August and post covid so was not expecting the course to be in the best condition but was still charged €125 plus €25 euros for a buggy. The course itself is great but the greens were disgraceful. They were burnt and needed rolling. The condition was more of a poor pay and play course in the UK than a so called top world course. With the weather and current situation in mind we spoke to the pro shop after and made our views known explaining that due to the current condition we felt the price was too high. We were told that all the greens in Turkey would be in the same condition and that they could not offer a discount.
Show more...We then Played, PGA Sultan, Gloria and the Monty and the greens were amazing and not suffering from the same neglect.
I decided that an official email approach was probably better and again was told that we could not get any type of discount and that it was one of the best courses in the area. Highly disappointed not only in the condition of the course but the lack of customer service and professionalism.
