We had a golf wekek holiday in Cornelia Diamond Golf & SPA during Christmas. It was our first time and we were lycky enaugh to have all 27 holes open (the course is always a combination of two of the three 9 holes courses, King, Queen and Prince). We played here solely 3 days rotating the 3 courses while for the rest of the days we played other courses in Belek. We loved the design of the courses, with lots of dog legs, water/lekes and scenic tee boxes and green. All courses were beautifully maintained with perfect greens and fairways.
The only downsize we notice is the lack of holes map on the tee box plaques (for those playing it first time it might be difficult). Another negative is that they do not have ball washer stations at the tee boxes and this is awfull (not nice to play with dirty balls). The navette from Cornelia Diamond to the club hause and back is very efficient (1.5 km) and all the personnel was very nice and profi. All in all, a beautiful golf which calls for return.
We played the Cornelia Golf course ( FALDO COURSE) twice last week and it was the worst between the Faldo, Montgomery and the Carya. I’m not saying the design was the worst but certainly the greens were. Very poor grass and very very slow greens. Couple of ‘silly’ doglegs where you could end up hitting a wedge for your 2nd shot on par 5’s. Clubhouse was fine and it wasn’t busy at all, but very hot.
Show more...Sad to say the course looked tatty and tired, a real shame as I've been three times previously in the past and the course was always well maintained. The whole feel is that things have been left to slide with tatty surrounds to the tees, walkways and fairways - with a little care the course could be returned to it's previous level as there are some great holes. Having seen the multitude of better maintained courses nearby I will play elsewhere next time.
Show more...We went in januari and the course was empty, each day for 2 weeks, we could choose our own starting time😁 butbecause there was nobody, they close 9 holes, we had unlimited golf but to play for 2 weeks the same course is not nice. I told the golfmanager and as compensation we could use a trolley or buggy every day for free.
But next time no more unlimited golffor us, there area lot of nice courses in Belek.
We have been visiting Belek in Turkey to play Golf every year for the last seven years.
This year we were a party of 12 ( 6 couples) and our Tour agent recommended that we play the Cornelia Nick Faldo Golf Course. Whilst for 12 of us the total cost was in excess of £1000 we were looking forward to the experience
We arrived ahead of our booked tee times at 9 am to be greeted by a rather surly lady who took our Clubs and pointed to reception.
We checked in and we were advised that we could go off earlier if we wanted, which we accepted and proceeded to collect our buggies. When we arrived there we were told that we would be playing off the first on the Princes Course ( hole 19) but could not go off yet as "The starter was having his breakfast".
When he arrived he told us that we were incorrect in saying we were to play off the Princes and that we should start of the Queens Course ( hole 10). He then sent all twelve of us off to the other Starter.
When we arrived at the Queens course the Starter said that "we were wrong and should be starting off the Princes Course". We asked him to sort out where we should be playing and he said that "it was not his Problem". We asked to speak to the manager and he declined. Eventually another Grumpy Marshal arrived who told us we had to go back again to the Princes Course.
We eventually arrived on the Course and when we played were continually confronted with staff on the course obstructing our play. The worst of these was a Groundsman who was mowing the Green who waved us to play into the green and then continued to mow the Green whilst his workmate stood in the middle of the Green.
Playing this great Golf course should have been a pleasure but was probably the worst experience we have had at any golf course.
We will not be visiting this Golf course again because of the attitude and behavior of the staff and would not recommend it to anyone else.
Faldo Golf Course was in superb condition. Weather helped. It was lovely All 3 loops were in tip top condition. Play it if you get a chance
Show more...This was our group's eight golf trip to Belek. The group comprises 8 low handicap golfers - all members of good UK clubs and who play golf around the world. We have never particularly liked the Faldo course and haven't played it for a few years and thought we would return and give it a second chance. We regret it.
Let me say right up front that the staff are lovely, the basic layout of the course is good and the standard of green keeping is excellent. So what can be so bad about it?
Well -plenty!
The fairways are almost all hogs back shaped. Any shot slightly off centre sheds into the semi or worse. This isn't "tough", it's just stupid.
Then add some pointless obstacles in the middle of fairways like a lone tree or a bit of waste ground. It might look like a daring design feature but it ain't golf. Again, good shots get penalised and often approaches to greens are unfairly restricted.
In most other tree lined Belek courses, the ground beneath the trees is cleared leaving a bed of pine straw. Bad shots are penalised but you don't lose the ball. Not at the Faldo. The forest bed is a mass of thorns and gorse. Often there is no point in even looking for your ball. Combine this with point one above and you have a recipe for a pretty miserable day out.
All these points are fixable - with the will and the money. It wouldn't be cheap. Until then we won't be back. If Sir Nick really did design the course this way and intend it to be presented like this then he ought to be stripped of his knighthood.
7am Tee off and it felt like we had the place to ourselves - fantastic facilities including two practice areas for chipping, putting and driving. Course itself is challenging yet fair and very pleasing on the eye. Greens slow but in great nick and very interesting with lots of borrows. Marshall regularly visiting throughout the round though there was no problem with slow play. Great course glad we played it and now on my list of favourites in Turkey
Show more...I am now a gold card holder which I received after ten visits, although I have been here more. Mainly for golf but also with my wife and non golf.
Weather is almost guaranteed. - I have been here in April, May,, June, September and November and had just the one light shower in all that time.
The hotel is big and you can always find a quite spot if required. I am sure that most visitors haven’t explored the full extent as I have over many years.
The ala carte restaurants are good but noe exceptional and the main buffet is superb. I enjoy the ala carte restaurants as you are served in a far quieter atmosphere - personal taste.
The Faldo course is superb but nearly all the courses in Belek are of a similar standard. A golfers dream.
Only criticism is that over the years I have found the service not to be quite as good as previous years and the staff seem to be less fluid in English.
However, I would come again. A week is more than enough!

I’ve played on a few courses carrying the Faldo name and this was easily the worst. Also, compared with the other Belek courses I’ve played, despite this being the one I was looking forward to most, it turned out to be the least enjoyable. The course condition wasn’t great, the greens looked really patchy and in desperate need of a drink, the only positive thing I can say is at least it made them faster than other courses in the area. Around the course there were lots of unkempt areas, it was hard to tell if it was work in progress or just a mess!
Show more...The most frustrating part was the pace of play. In front of us was a group of three (I’m guessing Dutch judging by their outfits) who were clearly high handicappers. Chronically slow and by the turn were around 2 holes behind the group in front of them. Sadly no marshalling seen, so it was not dealt with. 4hr45mins for a 3 ball in buggies is not good enough. After the round I went to complain, surprisingly there was no management on site, but one of the staff called a manger and passed me the phone. He said that the pace of play was fine and if the Marshalls needed to intervene then they would have. I asked for a partial refund, he just blankly refused. Won’t be going back and definitely don’t recommend. Go to Cullinan - the difference is unbelievable!
