Show more...We booked into a Privelege King Room. Room was great, so spacious with a massive comfy bed. Facilities exceeded expectations and included a bath and shower in the bathroom, a little fridge and an Alexa! Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good quality and very tasty. Location is superb, especially if you are seeing a show at the Motorpoint Arena, only about a 5 minute walk and also close to shops, pubs and clubs. One downside was you are in the thick of the nightlife so it was a little noisy at night, but the hotel had provided earplugs which I thought was considerate and a nice touch, allowing me to have a good night's sleep. Looking forward to our next visit which we have already booked.
Show more...It was a horrible weekend stay. We chose to stay here as our friends were getting married and recommended this hotel. We looked at the rooms and thought this was a good place to accommodate us rather well. Upon arrival to our room we had a box room with not even a double bed, it was a small double, just bigger than a single bed (double bed was what we were offered when looking at the room). The room itself was no bigger than a cheap university accommodation room, after paying £224 we were absolutely disgusted to find out what were given. After 2 complaints and rather a sassy manager giving us rather rude advice to research (which we did), we were finally moved to a better room. On the plus side we were given ear plugs to walk around with and sleep with due to the ‘noisy’ area this hotel is located at. Overall this hotel isn’t what it has been made out to be.
Show more...brilliant quirky hotel with comfortable clean rooms, friendly staff great bar with live entertainment’s right in the heart of nottingham social scene. ideal for families of couples with plenty to do i would highly recommended this hotel and will be staying again next time we go to nottingham.
Show more...We was seeing a show in Nottingham and decided to stay overnight. We chose this hotel as it was close to the show. However when we arrived there was scaffolding on the outside. However when we got to our room we noticed earplugs and couldn’t understand why!! It was very noisy as it was close to a nightclub, we was not told about this and the reason for the earplugs was clear. We had a telephone which was not even connected to anything, it was just for show. No wonder room service was quiet as well as reception!!
Show more...Stayed for 1 night with my sister to watch the season opener of netball super league... lovely place and very helpful staff, Bruno and Peter on reception were especially helpful and treated us to an upgraded suite!!! Breakfast very good, would defo recommend!!
Show more...This was the worst night sleep I have ever had in a hotel. The hotel details do not state is that there is an underground club below the hotel which is open till at least 2am which makes the beds and rooms within the hotel physically shake! DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE HOPING TO SLEEP.
Show more...Avoid! If you like to sleep. Extremely noisy location surrounded by pubs and clubs with the music/noise only stopping around 3am. When we complained about the noise and asked to move to another room we were told by the manager ‘you should have researched the hotel better and realised it would be noisy’! So this is now our warning to others! Room was tatty, plugs not working, cracked tiles, fittings loose in the bathroom, aircon not really working so the room was extremely warm. Positives…other than the manager the staff were polite, location was handy for the Motorpoint arena, just a shame we were too tired to enjoy the event.
Show more...Very polite, friendly and helpful staff, met quite a few but only name I got was Vinnie, he was doing a great job in the bar. Nice looking hotel with a spacious room. Breakfast was tasty and great value. Great location for restaurants and bars.
Show more...There’s much to like about this hotel the location is great, dead centre of the city. The breakfast (and the breakfast staff) were really good. The shower was powerful and the bed comfy. But our room was small and made even smaller by the inclusion of a pointless massive wardrobe which contained … an ironing board. Guests should also be aware that they are going to be “treated” to the music from the club downstairs until the early hours, even if they’re on the third floor like us. To be fair the hotel do make it clear that this is a price you pay for the central “vibrant” location.

Photos of the front of the hotel are many years old. Locals estimate 10 years. Appreciate they are going through renovations (which they also keep quiet about until you arrive) but even the wall under the scaffolding is nothing like the aged. photo. Hotel mirrors are dirty, and the room I stayed in had a dangerous sharp edge on the walkway from the bed. If you book via Expedia , the hotel’s page advertises “on site parking” and “onsite EV Charging “. Having travelled by car, with colleagues to get there I asked where the parking was to be told “on site means onsite at the nearby car park”. False advertising, dirty unsafe room.
