Roomzzz Aparthotel Nottingham City

Choosing to stay at the Roomzzz apart-hotel in Nottingham for our overnight stay to go to a gig there proved to be an excellent decision. Firstly, the website is informative, the online booking process clear and simple, and the customer service, both by email/phone prior to arrival and in-person when we got there, really was second to none. None of the group of us staying there in different rooms could fault it. It was a bonus that they put us next door to each other. The building seems to be purpose built and the rooms are well-appointed. It was really useful to have a kitchen and fridge, and we were able to cook a pasta meal for six of us there for dinner before the gig. We loved having a sofa in the room and a large bed with a comfortable mattress. The curtains blocked out the light. The bathroom was good too, including the shower. The toiletries are high-quality The White Company ones. I liked the humour on the ‘Do Not Disturb’ card. I knew we’d get a free croissant and coffee for breakfast, but to be honest I expected it just to be an ultraprocessed pre-packaged one. To my surprise, the free breakfast croissants were fresh and a good size. They looked and tasted like bakery ones not mass-produced ones. Delicious. My only minor negative is that the coffee in the coffee machine in reception could be better. It was free though and there was also tea and coffee in the rooms. We paid £10 for secure overnight parking underneath the hotel. Roomzzz Nottingham City is in the city centre, close to many amenities, including the Rescue Room (for gigs), the beautiful arboretum and Nottingham Trent University. Staying in an apart-hotel is so much more practical and flexible than staying with a hotel chain. Roomzzz Nottingham City proved to be decent value for money with outstanding customer service and, in summary, a really positive experience. It was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Stayed for two nights at Roomzzz Nottingham. The staff one lady in particular was Professional, polite and understanding. Very welcoming on arrival. Thank you for being so great! Very good location and generally the hotel was quiet, which was nice especially as a light sleeper. The room I stayed in was a standard studio which was ok. Had almost everything you would need plus a little kitchenette. However, this was not the first room I was given. Was given a room on the third floor. It was a bit tired looking, furniture definitely needs replacing and the bathroom needs a facelift. There was mould around the shower and the toilet was stained. So told reception and was moved to another room. Glad there was another room. This room was a bit better but the bathroom was again not the best. They definitely need a refurb, the lime scale and mould is off putting. At least the toilet was cleaner. Second night was woken by the kitchen sink making some strange sounds, which continued throughout. Very annoying when the drain is gurgling every half hour. Did advise reception at check out and said they’d get maintenance to look at it. Breakfast isn’t much, a croissant and drink but I made use of the kitchen which was good. Overall, nice staff, great location, rooms and bathrooms need to be refurbished. Not sure I’d stay again.

This is a great hotel with a kitchenette in each room. After asking on the booking form, we were given vegan croissants and pastries for breakfast. Soya milk was also provided as well as a range of vegan items in the shop. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly; the hotel was clean, bathroom nice, bed comfortable. Couldn't ask for more.

What a lovely apartment with great facilities in one hotel.. The room, kitchenette, bathroom, cleanliness, tea and coffee facilities in reception and pastries in the morning were all on point! Pre paid onsite car parking, secure! Literally 2 mins walk from city! Big massive thank you to Emma who looked after us from the moment we walked in slightly early until check our and providing great recommendations too! Thank you to Tatiana too! Both provided great service with a smile and warm welcome! We will be back soon!

I arrived on a Sunday afternoon for a 5 night stay. Basically the rooms are just hotel rooms with a small kitchen section by the door. Most of the photos on their website are the luxury rooms so jsut don’t expect an ‘apartment’ when you book a ‘normal’ room. Came with fridge with small integrated freezer unit, dishwasher, 2 burner hob, sink and crockery, cutlery and utensils. I noted that the dishwasher was empty of salt & rinse aid…I asked if they had any but they don’t supply them..no big issue. There was no plug for the sink either…again they don’t provide one so you won’t be able to fill the sink. The room was comfortable enough but whe. I arrived back on the Monday evening there was a strong stench in the room. I was unsure if this came from the toilet or the sink but I reported it and for the most part they managed to rectify it but the smell was still there all week which was a bit off putting. My biggest issue however is with the air con. I tried and tried to make it work to no avail. Eventually I asked at reception and they told me they need to switch it on from there which they did. However, the next night It was off again and the room was stuffy…even with the window open. It seems that every day I was having to calll reception to ask them to turn it on and every time I was being asked the reason for wanting it on. I eventually just gave up and for the last night, put up with the stuffy room. All in all, it’s ok but I wouldn’t stay again.

Good value for money, has a kitchen in apartments for self catering, close to theatres, shops, bars, restaurants, cinema, coffee shops, bars. Five minute walk to trams. They have greatly reduced the content of the comokimentary grab and go breakfast, which is disappointing

Fabulous location. Greeted with a warm welcome and swift check in. Car park was handy as location was so central car was not needed for the weekend. Rooms fresh and clean with all facilities to self cater if needed.

Stayed here boxing night for a night at a club in the city centre. Was greeted by a lovely member of staff who checked me in. On arrival I paid for carparking which was reasonable. The hotel was clean and very quiet even though it is close to everything. The room was great, mini kitchen, great bathroom, comfy bed, flat screen tv, really enjoyed it, will use again when in Nottingham, thank you.

Lovely hotel and staff. Superb location particularly if you’re going to Rock City. It is literally a 3 minute walk to the front of Rock City and very handy for after a gig as you can stagger back quickly and safely. Great stay. Thanks.

Comfortable and clean and an ideal place to stay for Rock City and The Rescue Rooms. Friendly and helpful staff and would use again. Rooms are well set out and have everything you need for a stop over. Car parking is available as well as using nearby places.
