Barut Hemera

Just home from a fantastic 11 days at this wonderful Hotel with its own private beach. We could not fault anything, amazing food and entertainment. All staff were excellent but must give a special mention to our restaurant waitress Esra and Pool Bar waitress Elmas, who looked after us so well and Okan the Entertainments Manager who did a great job keeping us entertained with various competitions during the day. We would highly recommend this Hotel to people of all ages.

From start received a warm welcome in particular Albina, who arranged fruit and wine at short notice in both rooms despite only sister celebrating wedding anniversary and special birthday. Choice of food exceptional in all restaurants, including sweet treats in patisserie. Staff from cleaners, gardeners, to waiters are polite and cannot do enough to make stay pleasant and comfortable, in particular Emrah and Husnu who ensured we had everything we needed at meal times, always taking time to chat despite being super busy. Good choice of activities, rifle shooting, archery, boules (bocce) to name a few, organised by the amazing entertainments team especially Barcu and Mehmet, their enthusiasm knows no bounds! Rooms are clean and well kitted out, if we were being picky the bathrooms could be bigger. Corridors may benefit from sensor lighting as a little gloomy, especially in the evenings. Fantastic vibe from hotel, most definitely intend on returning next year.

The hotel is immaculate, and the selection and mix up of food was second to none. Slightly disappointed with the fish a La carte restaurant as the we found the service poor, but it might have been a bad night. I’d also stay clear of the wine they offer as it is very acidic. But overall a very good stay. ☺️

From arrival at this hotel we were made so welcome the staff were all so pleasant. The room overlooked the pool and was very nice with a very comfy king sized bed ,we asked for soft pillow s which were brought immediately. A special mention for Vural on customer relations A lovely man , reception staff , in fact all the staff were were so friendly and helpful we would definitely recommend this hotel and we will definitely be back

Wonderful holiday in this beautiful hotel. Food was delicious in the main restaurant and also the lunch time burger bar which was table service and had some lovely items on the menu. Drinks at the bar were great, cocktails and also mocktails for the kids which they loved. It’s February so not every day is guaranteed weather however the heated pools were the perfect temperature to swim in comfortably. Kids pool even warmer so they could enjoy lots of pool time without shivering. Loved the fire pits and heaters outside at night, comfortable seating and great table service for drinks too. All the staff we met were lovely, friendly and attentive. Our family room was well laid out although the bathroom was on the small side for a family of 4 and had no bath. Well equipped room with a good coffee machine and mini bar which was refilled with different sodas and beer every day. There were a few very SMALL things which I’d have loved but that didn’t take away from the holiday at all…. Nicer toiletries in the bathroom - shampoo wasn’t good quality for example.More structured kids activities like a timetable instead of just the kids going in the outdoor area (which was still fab). We did find it a little warm in the room at night but the air conditioning is centrally controlled in the winter. More variety for the night time entertainment, maybe something which isn’t a singer one of the nights would be good. A dance show, performance or even karaoke etc. I’m not sure what this hotel would be like in the high season as we are in the winter programme but I expect it would be even better and perhaps address the wish list above. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

From arrival to leaving the entire stay was nothing short of fantastic. Arriving you are treated by friendly staff who take your baggage and direct you to the bar for refreshments. They come and collect your passports and do everything required. Porters assist to the rooms. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Bathrooms are well equipped. Rooms have welcome wine and fruit, along with a free to use safe and free mini bar containing water, soda and beer. There are robes and slippers along with a beach bag and towels for the sun beds. These little extras are the normal for this hotel. Heated pool outside and inside if the weather requires. We didn't use the spa facilities but other guests we spoke to did and were very happy with the service. The food is amazing. So much choice! This hotel has the most friendly staff I've ever encountered on a holiday. From the maids and maintenance people through to waiters and management. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile. An extra special mention must go to Okan and the entertainment team. Okan made time to chat with us throughout the holiday and was very knowledgeable about the hotel and sure area. The games of darts, table tennis and airgun shooting were well received by my son. We certainly hope to return again and 100% recommend this hotel to anyone visit Side.

We stayed at Barut hemera from the 5th Feb for a week. We couldn’t fault the place, from when we arrived until we left. The staff are all very professional, attentive and friendly. Our room was big enough for the two of us, clean and tidy, with a pool view. The gardens are spotless, lots of trees and shrubs, as well as drift wood sculptures and birds to see. Plenty of good food choices in the buffet restaurant, all fresh, we particularly like the IPads next to the food with the ingredients listed. (Excellent idea for people with severe allergies). Even vegan choices. Didn’t have to wait too long for beverages. We used the indoor and outdoor heated pool which were lovely. Also used the spa for a few massages, I would highly recommend. Good entertainment in the indoor bar on an evening. I would definitely recommend this hotel, nice hidden little gem.

Lovely hotel, fabulous staff, fabulous food But is there any need to use power tools every day! We went away for a rest & this wasn’t going to happen when they’re digging up the pool area! Then on one of the best sunny days digging up the beach with a JCB!

We had a fantastic week here! The Swim Up Rooms are an absolute must - WOW - absolute luxury! Fabulous Food - always a excellent variety provided on the buffet. The restaurants are delicious - the menu choices are excellent and the presentation is 5 star. The Coffee Shop has an amazing selection. Friendliest Staff - honestly nothing is too much trouble, everyone is happy to chat and you are always greeted with a smile. What an absolute credit you all are to the hotel! All we can say is you can definitely see why people return here... ! Reading the reviews should provide all the reassurance you need.. so get booking!
