Make sure you take an iron and you have to pay for Internet which we was not told about before even though we was all inclusive and the all inclusive did not include the al a carte restaurant. When we got there it was late at night the hotel is OK you get what you pay for, we was taken to our room and we had to go past the pool and the smell of chlorine was terrible. We was on the 3rd floor which we had to go up 6 set of stairs which my sister found a bit difficult as her knees are not the best and no we are not old lol we did speak to them in the morning and they changed our room. They did not like giving out big bottles of water. The food was ok we did eat out a few times. There was a free shuttle bus to the beach a few times a day and the chap that drove the bus was lovely really helpful and pleasant but the bus was not the nicest or cleanest but it got us to the beach. We never went in or sat around the pool once which we love sitting by the pool but the smell of chlorine was terrible and knew it would irriate our skin and eyes as my sister and I are both light blue eyes. The cocktails was lovely but again not included. Some of the staff was lovely some not so. We made the most of our time there but would not go back. But as I said you get what you pay for. We had never been to this part of Turkey before and thought we would try it but it is a part of Turkey I would not go back to. Holiday companies should let you know that you have to pay for Internet and that irons are not provided and if you want one you have to pay plus they did not have ironing boards. We had to iron on the top next to the sink with a towel underneath if we had known these things we would not of stayed just purely because we have never had to pay for an iron or Internet before

All bad reviews are true. Agree with everything. If you book this hotel you will pay cheap, but you will end up paying a lot of extra for wifi, soft drinks which is not included in meal and so on. So in the end you pay more, but food is so bad, sometimes I was thinking they make it on purpose to not eat it and go somewhere else. Place is not clean. Loads of cats and dogs are always around. Cats walking on tables in restaurant. If you are allergic don’t go.

Overall we had an enjoyable stay at Sun City. We stayed over new year so very much out of season. The hotel was in a good location within easy walking distance of the old town. Everything was clean and we felt we got good value for money. We booked half board. Breakfast was mainly ok, other than one day when there was table service for breakfast (rather than the usual buffet) with no explanation. The evening meal was from a set menu and was a random (but tasty) soup followed by whatever you wanted from the menu. No Turkish options which was a shame. The food was very nice and huge portions. The service was friendly but a bit disorganised. A couple of days before New Years Eve we got a notice in our room to say there was a New Years Eve menu and entertainment. £20 pp to upgrade from half board, £40 pp to upgrade for self-catering. We booked this at reception but when we arrived at the event they didn’t seem to be expecting us. The hotel suddenly filled with Turkish guests that night, as you might expect. The meal was amazing - a delicious 6-course meal which took between 8pm and 1am to be served and eaten. There was live music (all Turkish) and a great atmosphere. Local drinks were included, which ended up being great, but took us over an hour to be served our first drink! Eventually we were able to use the bar. Would recommend this event! The indoor pool was warm and clean and the hotel pets were all lovely - including 4 week old puppies which were adorable. They all seemed well cared for.

The moment I arrived at this hotel I thought “what on earth “ and realised what a mistake I had made !!!like some else stated the hotel is based in a scruffy run down area !! There is a nice local shop within a 2 minute walk . All I could see is cats and dogs around the hotel ! Room are fairly clean , however the cleaners could do a better job on stocking up on toilet rolls and changing bed sheets in your room ! You have to pay for WiFi , which is shocking ! WiFi is so slow !!!!!! Buffet … what buffet ??????? When asked about buffet they said ask at reception !!!!!!! Breakfast was the same all week , pretty standard , basic choices!! Dinner was from a set menu all week round ! What I found disgusting was the evening staff ! I kind of felt humiliated, it’s the least I can say . Treated in a way which is unacceptable!! Customer service is very poor ! Over all I would say avoid this hotel . And lastly “modern “ is an understatement! The hotel is old , basic rooms. The shower is amazing though and the indoor pool is good . That’s about it ! Oh yes , dinning area was unclean !!!!!!!!! Dogs and cats everywhere! More animals then humans there !

We appeared to be the only 2 guests in the full hotel for the first few days, as we didn’t see anyone other than staff at breakfast , evening meal, or about the hotel. After a few days there were other guests, another 2 people, and over the rest of our week a few more, max 8 people including us. We had half board, but being mainly only us, it wasn’t buffet style so we were asked every day what we wanted, not just from a menu, but given plenty of choice from what the kitchen could do, We must say the food was absolutely 1st class, presentation was beautiful and portions were huge, Every single one of the staff were excellent, really friendly and attentive, greeting us at every opportunity. Obviously because of the time of year, the weather and lack of guests, the facilities were limited, but the indoor pool was open ( nice) but the likes of sauna, shop and hairdressers were shut, again we expected this because of season, but mentioned in case anyone would expect them open. Our room was spotlessly clean, maybe a little dated, but perfectly functional, the cleaners came in every day and replaced towels, made the beds etc, Only problem was as it was winter time, the room was cold on a night time,we tried the air con unit turned up to heat, but it stayed cold, not sure if it’s supposed to heat. In summery, the hotel was faultless, can’t speak for how it will be in summer season when it’s full, but we throughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book up again for a nice winter break. Well done Sun City Hotel…

In the middle of the town. About 15 minutes walk to the nearest beach. Hotel's beach is in about 15 minutes drive with very old bus in the middle of the nowhere. Cheap hotel. Rooms are well maintained for that price, but water stopped on the top floor when lower floors used. No lifts which should be a problem if you are on the top floor and old or with poor mobility.. Few pools but the good places are always engaged by towels. Can't say anything about the food because was self catering. Be aware you need to pay for WiFi which is £2 per day for one device ( phone or laptop) Very unfriendly staff. All my requests were ignored. I won't back again

I have been to many all inclusive hotels. All inclusive it is definitely not! (especially as their web site describes the hotel as "Ultra All Inclusive" and states that the Wi-Fi is free). Hire of pool-towels (200 lira for a week). Wi-Fi is £10 per device per week! Ice cream not included. There are 2 medium sized pools both of which are freezing! Most of the pool areas are in the shade so it was common for people to get up early to reserve a sunbed. The pool man would move people on before the sun went down to rearrange the sunbeds for the next day. The "al la carte restaurant " is really a pool side bar with a menu and is expensive!! There is a free dilapidated coach that takes you to the beach. Only soft drinks are provided at this location. Not fully inclusive. The single "All inclusive" drinks bar is tiny (3m x 3m) and understaffed, and you have to queue for soft drinks too. Spirits were metered out in miniature bottles (very strange). The queue was always very long! The management imposed a rule that after 21:00, drinks could only be ordered via the waiters (if you could find one). The all inclusive finished at 22.00 and EVERYTHING after then is at a high cost. There is no air-con in the dining area, so there are loads of flies. The hotel is plagued with referral cats that the staff allow to roam the Buffet floor and tables. The dining area smells, and the crockery and cutlery are always chipped and dirty. The food is mediocre at the very best but most of the time borders on inedible! overcooked fish, chicken/turkey and minced meat (not sure what meat) that was shaped differently to add variety (balls, round, rolled, rectangular....). The Hot buffet items are always cold, even if you get there as soon as it opens. Poor choice for vegetarians and dishes often unlabelled. The single coffee machine is disgusting. The single fruit juice machine was always breaking down. The beds are hard and the blankets you get in the room are for single beds. We had to overlap 2 single sheets to cover the double bed. Blankets made of a coarse material that itches. There is very little to do in the hotel especially for children as the kid zone is all extra cost!! The entertainment duo provided mini disco, quizzes, bingo and karaoke. The management leaves a lot to be desired like manners, helpfulness, willingness to listen, ability to help and most of all a decent attitude! We tried to complain to the manager but we were met with "Nothing I can do". "Complain to your agent". Even by Turkish standards, this place is dire.
