Last week I was guest in Sueno Golf for the fifth time in last 10 years. We are group of almost 70 golfers. Unfortunately I have to say that it is not up to the standard of other hotels in Belek any more. We was able to use all facilities of both hotels (Sueno Delux & Sueno Golf), and that was very good.
But my main complain is about so called Unlimited golf. Almost all teetimes we got, was splitted with 2 or 3 hours pause. So if someone wanted to play extra nine hols it was impossible. On some days when tee times were late (after 12:00), thay did't alowed us to play back nine starting at 8:00, despite the fact that course was empty at that time.
On thursday, 13.2. they gave us teetimes starting at 14:30, so only two flights were able to finish before dark.
Only reason this year we went this early in February (8. - 15.2.) was because of this so called Unlimited golf. Massive disapointment!
I think that this is definetly our last visit to Sueno resort!

I’ve given course 4 but I wanted to give 3.5, for me the pines was in terrible condition, tees fairways around greens bunkers are all needing mayor TLC. the dunes was in far better condition but still way behind the likes of Maxx royal, Carya and Faldo, the birdie bar is what gains these 2 courses an extra point. Sueno hotels are great but for the price per round they need to up their game on these courses or they’ll loose customers.
Show more...There should have been 8 of us but due to UK rules on isolation on return it was reduced to 2. Our group has been all over Europe on our annual golf trip. I think this has been the best venue we have ever visited for all kinds of reason, and we are very fussy.
The course were both fabulous, in great condition, the deluxe hotel was great all staff were extremely friendly. Everything was so easy, no hassle no stress. We are going back with the full group next year without a doubt, I want the rest of our group to experience, what I believe, is the ultimate golf trip. Thank you so much, the two week isolation was worth it.
Played this course recently and I can't believe how much it has deteriorated since 2 years ago. I have previously given this course a 5 star review on my old account but I'm afraid that is simply not possible this time. Having played Carya and Sultan in the previous days I fully expected Sueno to be on a par with them (No pun intended) but I was so wrong!
I think JCWILSON2416's pictures sum up my experience too. Brown tee boxes, brown fairways and greens that looked like they had been rolled with a Jersey cow that was ripe for milking. As if that wasn't bad enough there were tyre marks on several of the fairways. These tyre marks were too big to be made by a tractor and too small to come from a buggy - possibly from a family sized saloon? If I had to guess I'd say a Volkswagen Passat. To think we paid 110 Euros to play this is ridiculous. That is a whole lot of wonga.
As well as the grass being poor quality so were the bunkers. One of my party chipped his 9 iron on a stone. Look, I know things like this can happen but it wasn't a small stone in any way. It was roughly the size of the seed from a peach, or possibly a very large grape. It was as if the bunkers weren't being raked at all!
After our round we made our feelings known to the member of staff in the pro shop. I must say that he was very understanding and professional. Didn't catch his name but he had dark hair, a European sports beard, was smartly dressed in ivory slacks and appeared to be wearing string backed leather driving gloves - possibly for extra purchase on the wheel whilst driving to work.
The lad from the pro shop did say that they are going to introduce a performance management system for the green keeping staff to try and eradicate underperformance. This is something I hope is put in place as a matter of urgency. A difficult system to implement sometimes but very effective when done properly.

Decided to play a couple of Rounds of Golf whilst on Holiday oil Turkey, Booked a round with our Hotel Rep and he had booked me into Sueno Golf Club. I rented a Golf Cart and Clubs. The Clubs were Cleveland Blacks and were ok but would have preferred a steel shaft not Graphite. The Course I played was the Pines course and was in superb condition. Drinks and snacks from the cart were a bit Pricey. I would definitely recommend this course

Leave the putter at home, it’s best to chip in a 2m circle from the flag.

My brother in law had been raving about this golf resort. I brought my 15 year old son over in a group of 4 to improve main short game over the winter. The hotel and golf facility overall was fine, with food average rather than deluxe. However I would not have came on the trip had I been made aware of the greens in advance. They were simply appalling, the majority mainly made up of soil and bumps. How they have the audacity to charge for this is beyond me. Thing is 1 round is bad enough but 7. For this reason won’t be back and can’t recommend this resort.
Show more...7 of us recently booked 2 rounds each over 4 days at Sueno Dunes & Pines. Course has practise facilities both mat and grass, both courses were booked between 12-15 May and enjoyed Club House facilities, drinks and staff attitude. PINES course is pretty long compared to Dunes and both were in excellent conditions except greens bit slow due to sand spreading etc. Will we come back here next time, a Big Yes
Show more...Played both Dunes and Pines. The fairways, tee boxes etc were fine. The problem was that all 36 greens were just brown compacted sand. Speaking to other golfers, it had been like that for 2 weeks prior to our stay with absolutely no improvement.
I can’t see the greens recovering for several months.

I played the Sueno Dunes on 05/03/2022 with a few friends whilst in Belek. We played 6 rounds across the 6 days on Montgomerie/Carya/National and Sueno Dunes of which the Sueno was on a completely different level for all the wrong reasons.
Show more...The rack rate for this course at the time we played was €90 and that was due to rise to €110 a couple of days after, which, in my opinion is utterly unacceptable. We played the first hole and the tee box, fairway and green was in a shocking condition. We thought rather than go back to the clubhouse after 1 hole we would give it the benefit of the doubt and that the rest of the course couldn't be quite this bad. Unfortunately it was just as bad and as we figured there was no chance of getting a refund we played through and brought up the complaint post round.
Throughout the round the tee boxes were brown, fairways were brown and greens rolled horrendously. lacking grass on the greens meant you might as well not bother putting.
We complained to the guy in the pro shop who through broken English tried to tell us that it was because of the overseeding being done at the wrong time (of course it's not his fault and we felt a bit sorry for him as he isn't the one making the decisions). We also spoke with our agent who said the course has 400 players per day and there was snow earlier in the year for 3 days. However, this applies to all courses in the area, and all other courses were in fantastic condition.
We were finally offered a 9 hole voucher for the Sueno after we got back to the UK but even if we were offered an 18 hole voucher when in Turkey we still would not have taken them up on this offer.
What makes this more disappointing is that I have previously stayed at the Sueno Deluxe and seen the course looking great in September 2020, and had a good time on that trip only playing 4 rounds at those courses.
What I would advise to anyone staying at the Sueno in the upcoming weeks or looking to play is to say to look elsewhere, try all you can to find alternatives because if you are genuine golfers looking for a round of course that is worth more than £10 then do not play the Sueno. If you are there as part of an all inclusive deal and only playing the Sueno and are there with the main priority of hacking around and getting drunk then you'll be fine. Any fans of golf please take my advice and look elsewhere.
The management need to take a long hard look at themselves if this is the standard of course they are willing to provide to paying players. Without negative reviews online they will think they can keep outputting a course of this standard so I felt like I had to say something. The course needs shutting down for at least a couple of months to get it back into a playable state.
Ultimately, the pictures speak for themselves. And yes I understand this is the cheapest option in Belek but the course isn't worth 1% of the Monty/Carya/National and probably many others.
Please avoid and try to find alternatives if you can.
