Thank you to Kirsty (reception) for her exceptional help and support when my mum had a medical emergency, Alecsi for supporting my Dad whilst I was at the hospital with Mum and to Jessica on reception for being very kind.

Had a great stay , Rooms very spacious and spotlessly clean, Breakfast in hotel restaurant was fantastic, so much choice . We were checked in by Gianluca on front desk who was very helpful and a credit to your business . He managed to get us checked into our room earlier than expected which was a great help after a long drive . Would 100% recommend this lovely hotel to anyone staying in this area or visiting there kids at the uni !
Show more...Stayed at this hotel for business several times over the last couple of years. I have always received good service. Not tonight. I approached the bar to collect a menus for food. I was ignored so I help myself to the bar menu. I sat myself in the food /table area of the bar and left after 15 minutes as staff walked past but did not offer to serve me a drink or take my order. Glad that Deliveroo and Uber eats have an extensive list of food that can be delivered as this seems to be the only way to get food at the hotel in the evenings.
Show more...This is a stylish, vibrant, friendly place, a clear cut above the budget chain hotels. It is in a scenic, leafy spot on the university campus. It's lovely for strolling around but it means you have a ten minute brisk walk to go into the nearby town of Beeston where there are plenty of pubs and restaurants, or a few minutes' walk to the bus and tram stops for Nottingham, where there is a very regular service. My room wasn't quite as big as some I've had in the budget hotels but it was more than adequate and had better facilities. Little things like providing ample tea and coffee compared to the measly offerings by the budgets make a nice impression. Free wifi is provided - one of the budget hotels now does this but it is deliberately underpowered and some web pages will barely load, in order to tempt you to pay for 'super' (ie normal) wifi. Parking is free and there are ample spaces. I unwittingly booked a stay on a graduation ceremony day so the car park was packed, but there was an army of friendly and efficient stewards helping out and I was directed to one of the last free spaces. My favourite thing about the hotel was the spacious open plan reception/foyer/bar area, where you can sit and have a drink and a bar snack or meal and watch the comings and goings. It's worth paying ther extra for this hotel. My only minor complaint is the shower controls. The shower itself was large and modern, but why do hotels insist on using controls which can only be operated by trial and error? There may have been a tiny red and green dot somewhere on one of the two mystery knobs - I don't know because I didn't take a magnifying glass. But a shower only has two functions - stop/start and temperature. Is a simply, clearly marked on/off knob and temperature dial to much to ask?!
Show more...Amazing hotel, by far the best Hotel I've ever stayed at, we went to Nottingham to see the Xmas market, from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out the staff made us feel welcome, the room was faultless, the breakfast was amazing and the Honeycomb was a nice touch, the links to the city centre via bus was quick and cheap.
Show more...Brilliantly comfortable room, lovely pillows and mattress and quality bed linen - lovely! The accessible shower was indeed accessible for me and the ease of use made the stay even nicer - I often have to struggle, as a disabled woman, with poor access. Beautiful surroundings and good access within the conference rooms. As a vegetarian, though, the food was very disappointing indeed. It looked great and the service was charming, but it was bland and not great. Best thing I had was a bowl of yoghurt with fruit and honey.
Show more...The great assets of this hotel are its great light filled architecture, which lifts the spirits and its amazingly friendly people. High housekeeping standards; well run restaurant with a higher than usual proportion of veggy dishes; more standard waist enhancing fare at breakfast needs an expansion of choices other than fried and fried . The pervasive all day soulless loud beat musak is rather the same as I use for my Peleton but I don't want that battering when I am having a quiet late night tipple at the bar. Park at the top if you do not like lugging cases up the many steps.
Show more...Stayed here whilst attending a conference at the East Mids Conference Centre next door. The hotel has a lovely spacious and open lobby with a good bar and also restaurant. The room was very well kitted out with the usual items including an ironing board and safe. Rooms were cleaned daily and provided a good nights sleep
Show more..."I had an excellent stay at this hotel, and I want to express my gratitude to the housekeeping staff. They not only kept my room impeccably clean and comfortable throughout my stay but also went above and beyond to help me when I lost something valuable. Their honesty and dedication are truly commendable. I greatly appreciate their efforts and the integrity they displayed in returning my loss. Thank you to the housekeeping manager (pope) and entire hotel team for making my stay memorable and for the exceptional service!"

Comfortable stay at the Orchard for one night. Friendly reception at check in and check out, room was clean and just enough space. Only downfall was being next to the lift and hearing it regularly in the early hours - would return, but would ensure not a room next to the lift! (We didn’t have breakfast or any food as had plans in Nottingham)
