TUI BLUE Barut Andız

Stayed in this hotel for three weeks in October. It’s such a lovely hotel, which is why we keep coming back year after year. It’s so clean and well cared for and the staff do everything they can to ensure you have the best holiday. It’s lovely and quiet around the pool apart from the water aerobics which takes place for a short time each day. The variety of food is equal to any good hotel, if not better. The beach is a short walk away and as the hotel has its own private beach this ensures it doesn’t get overcrowded and there is a promenade that you can take a stroll into Side’s beautiful town. Just look at all the wonderful reviews and judge for yourselves, they can’t all be wrong. Looking forward to staying again soon and thank you for all our wonderful holidays there.

We are very confused by all the wonderful reviews of this hotel! I can honestly say it is the worst Adults Only holiday we have ever experienced. The hotel is definitely NOT 5 stars. The beach is overcrowded, the area run down and the pool area is noisy and has annoying reps playing loud music with aqua aerobics every day. The food in the main restaurant is basic and cold. The only saving grace was the other restaurant at lunch. The excursion we went on was, suggested by the TUI rep was horrendous - like being herded cattle, ending up after an inedible lunch at a Primark like shop (sorry Primark you are actually much better!) even though we told the rep that we didn’t want to experience anything like that. If you want a quiet, relaxing, ‘luxury’ Adults Only holiday avoid this place at all costs.

Hi All! 🙂 I have chosen this hotel, because of many 5* reviews. The hotel is only for adults, and it is true, no children at all. Only on beach, because there are many people walking around. Hotel is not the firstline one, but 200 m to beach walking next to grass yard is ok. Starting from reception, all went smoothly. Thank you for it! Room, maybe not so big, but nice, we had the pool/sea view. It was nice to have an wine as a gift for us, also nice gift was beach bag - really useful. One more important thing! When you close the window, you do not hear music, and can stay in silent room! Very important for me! Minuses of the room - no bathroom, but separate toilet/shower. Room could be more detailed interior finished, example old tiles on the floor. Bed could have a wellpure materace, because it was uncomfortable. 🙈 Pool and space around the hotel was really nice.😊 Personel - very well organized!👌🏻 Restaurant - delicious!👍🏻 Coffee place - cakes could be better, Tui magic life belek had wonderful mono mini desserts. 🍨 Show -👎🏻❗️ hm… Turkish show - let me add - one show for the whole week - drama. We chose hotel for adults, and show was made by teenagers… laughing to each other, nobody knew about what… that was not a show. 😢 Better show made Jimmy on Olive Oil testing and cooking 🤗 ! Bingo was also great!👍🏻 What is also worth saying Old Town is really close and worth going.

The key point about this hotel is the customer focus of every single member of staff who do everything they can to make your stay fabulous. The food at every meal provides a tasty choice. The wine is drinkable, Efes beer is a good offer and the spirits in all inclusive are proper brands, eg Johnnie Walker, Captain Morgan and Gordon’s. None of this local spirits nonsense. Our room was very pleasant with plenty of storage available and a roomy balcony with washing rack. There is a perfectly adequate gym and some good bars , including one on the roof and another with a balcony nicely planted up. The entertainment was mixed, with some good acts, but also nights where things were a bit of shambles. It was the end of the season, so we had no trouble finding a sun bed, either at the pool or beach, but imagine at high season things would be tight, particularly as the hotel is quite small with little in the way of grounds. Throughout the hotel be aware you will be accompanied by cats . On the beach your companions are more likely to be large docile stray dogs. This hotel does more than most to provide no smoking areas outside but we long for the day when we don’t have to passively smoke other people’s fags. Annex the smokers to a bus shelter away from everyone else! Side is a 20 min walk away down the prom and really developing, particularly the uncovering of the old Roman port city. We hired a car from the guy across the street for 40 euros all in, and visited Perge and Aspendos. Fantastic. The hotel does have some downsides ,as mentioned above, but given the wonderful staff it would be churlish not to score it 5. Special mention to Halit, lounge bar Captain , who was efficient, hard working and a lovely guy to talk to. Hope your toe is better!

We had a fantastic repeat experience at the Hotel Barut Andiz. The staff from the manager down are the reason this hotel receives such positive feedback. Special thanks to Ergan, Savos, Hasan and Kamil in the dining room, Mehmet in the Culinarium, Ismail in the pool bar and Burak in the Sunset bar. Also thanks to Dan and Valentina, they are great TUI reps. The position of the hotel is great for walks along the promenade in both directions. Entertainment is varied and there is something to do every evening. The hotel is spotless and we love the fact it is not a huge hotel. Lastly, we hope to be back soon. This is the only hotel we have ever returned to for a second holiday! It left a huge impression on us. Hamid and Elaine

Fabulous Hotel…Sat in the Lobby Terrace overlooking the Pool & Beach having thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful Hotel. it’s our first visit & certainly will not be our last. Speaking to other Guests who have been here numerous times simply says it all. The Staff, too many to personally name are truly amazing & along with Fabulous Food make for a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️experience. The Hotel is within 20mins walking distance to Side Old Town & its wonderful historical round which is a must see. Beautiful Beach within 300yards is superb Many Thanks to you all @ Hotel Barut Andiz & see you next year xx

This hotel fully deserves the excellent reviews it has received. I never thought that staff could make such a difference to the overall experience of a holiday but the staff here have changed my mind. On arrival we were met with drinks. We arrived too late for evening meal but the lobby bar has cakes and snacks available. Of course the all inclusive drinks also help. The room has a fridge with topped up drinks every day, including small cans of beer. Every member of staff cannot do enough for you. The waiting staff have such a friendly approach during meal times. There are plenty of staff in all departments which make the overall experience amazing. A visit to the Spa is a must. A couples hammam and massage on the first day highly recommended. This set us up for an amazing week. There was always enough beds around the pool and the private beach a three minute walk. Beds and umbrellas on the beach and drinks and fruit brought to you by such a lovely guy. Breakfast lunch and evening dinner was so varied. Different every day with such a wide range of choices. A lovely 25 minute stroll along the prom into Old Town Side makes for a fantastic location.

One word sums up this amazing hotel & it’s staff INCREDIBLE!! This was our first visit & we will definitely return. The hotel is spotlessly clean & immaculate, the food is outstanding & the staff friendly, polite & always smiling! A special mention to Ergin, Burak, Halit, Nurettin, Dan & Valentina for making our holiday so enjoyable in every way. An exceptional hotel, highly recommend!!

The reviews did not lie. This was our first visit to the hotel and certainly wont be the last. Everything came up to, or surpassed our expectations. On checking our room, I discovered the usual (for me) too firm mattress and asked reception if a topper could be provided. I expected this to be done the next morning as it was nearly 9pm. On returning to the room at 11pm we found it had already been done. The choice and quality of the food was superb in both the buffet and the a-la-carte restaurants The service from restaurant staff, bar staff and reception was top notch and always delivered with a smile Reception went out of their way to help The public areas of the hotel as well as our room were kept spotless No problem finding a sun bed although the no-smoking side of the pool was in the shade for most of the day but as the temperature was in the high 20's, sitting in the shade was perfect. This also meant that there was no need to get into the very cold pool to cool down as often! All in all a perfect relaxing stay The only thing to slightly spoil things was the overnight flight home (obviously no fault of the hotel)

Without repeating everything that's been written about the Andiz , this us the best hotel we have stayed in . The reason is the people and whilst I would like to name each and every one of Ergins team I will pick out a few of the very best. Halit the incredibly hard working lounge barman who could not do enough for everyone, Mehmet in the ala carte restaurant , always on hand to top up our wine, Dan the always present but not in your face Tui rep and Savas the man who must walk miles around hotel every day. This was our third visit, this time in a suite overlooking the sea. So good we booked again for the next year, which is something we never do despite having stayed in hotels all around the world.
